An infographic is a type of display where information is shown in a clear graphical way using pictures and symbols.  The example picture above is an infographic created by the UK government to show how it had responded to Typhoon Haiyan.

Your task:

Create an “infographic” to show the primary and secondary effects of Typhoon Haiyan on the Philippines. Your work can be completed by hand or using a computer, but should clearly show the main effects of the typhoon.

Tips

  1. Remember primary effects are those that happen as a direct result of the typhoon.
  2. Secondary effects happen as a result of the primary effects.
  3. Your infographic should include numbers of people affected, deaths, injuries, people made homeless etc.
