An infographic is a type of display where information is shown in a clear graphical way using pictures and symbols. The example picture above is an infographic created by the UK government to show how it had responded to Typhoon Haiyan.
Create an “infographic” to show the primary and secondary effects of Typhoon Haiyan on the Philippines. Your work can be completed by hand or using a computer, but should clearly show the main effects of the typhoon.
- Remember primary effects are those that happen as a direct result of the typhoon.
- Secondary effects happen as a result of the primary effects.
- Your infographic should include numbers of people affected, deaths, injuries, people made homeless etc.
